2019 WRABF World Championships South Africa

The info is flowing for this event after last weeks announcement of live streaming of every shooter for every event the following has come through, looks like it will be a very well organised and professional event, also a new draft World Championship manual is about to be sent out to all delegates in the coming month..

The dates for 2019 as follows: 5-15 August.
5-6 August AR Practice
7-9 August Air Rifle
10 August RF Practice
11 August day off
12 August RF IS
13-15 August RF LV and HV and Farewell function

Some information regarding the benches and flag height:
The range is a proper benchrest range, meaning that the bench top and bottom target frame are on the same level. The benches are build from concrete/cement and are therefore solid. Some specifications:
Top bench thickness is 10cm (3.93inches)
The bench width at the top is 1.02m (40.15inches)
The total length of the bench is 1.18m (46.45inches)

The range is build on a slight slope therefore the flag height differs from bench 1 and bench 40. Here are the minimum and maximum flag height that your flags need to be:
Bench 1- 1.40m (55,11inches)
Bench 17 -1.82m (71.65 inches)
Bench 40 - 2.20m (86.61 inches)
This is measured from the ground to the top of the bench.
The flag height is given so that you have ample time to ensure your flag are long enough. You need to bring something with to secure your stands in case of windy conditions.

The range is located about 30km outside of Pretoria towards the north. Accommodation at safari lodges close by, as in 10 minutes drive.
