The Western Sydney Rifle Club Autumn Shoot is on again.
To be held on the 20th May, only a few weeks away.
The Western Sydney Rifle Club events are some of my favorite events for the year.
A great day shooting 2 classes with a quality lunch available.

Note: the Light class rules have been updated to the new SSAA rule book.
Meaning 3.855kg weight, 6.5 power scope and no need for a Magazine, now all the RBA sporters can compete.

See the attached Flyer for details.

There are only 40 places available, I am already signed up.

Western Sydney Rifle Club Shoot

Thanks Brett

We have been getting over 30 shooters to these events the last few years and it has been growing in popularity. I have already had a number of registrations from outside Sydney so will be a good day to catchup with old friends on the range.
If you wish to register please email me on dsdundas@optusnet.com.au with details of which classes you would like to shoot and if sharing equipment etc.

Thanks

I second Brett here

I second Brett on this being a favourite shoot as our family attends without failure , it’s always well run ,everybody is made feel welcome by all , it has the best facilities & The Grrreat lunch for a great price which they stop the match for so everyone can socialise and enjoy . This is definitely a shoot not to be missed and finishes at a reasonable time for shooters that have to travel home .
Regards Pete
See you all there .

WSRC Shoot Numbers

Thanks Pete,

I already have 26 registered shooters from various clubs from around Sydney and as far away as Dubbo. I am sure we will have more then 30 starters with a few more days to register.
All shooters with a valid shooters licence welcome, does not matter what shooting org you might be affiliated with to us. At just $20 for both classes (heavy and Light) it is the best value going around.
Hope to see you on the range,

Dave Dundas

WSRC Shoot Results

All
A great day on the range yesterday with sunny skies and a light but variable breeze. We had 35 shooters in Heavy\Open class and 29 shooters in the Light Benchrest. It was great to see so many top shooters in attendance as well as a couple of shooters who were attending their first shoot, thankyou all for comming along ro our little club.
Dave Brett from Albury beat some very good shooters and dominated the day with his Stiller 2500X (heavy) and his 2500XS in (Light class) did not drop a shot all day. I believe he was using RWS R50 for both classes. Second Place went to Roman Targonski who shoots with WSRC and Castle Hill. A standout for me was young Mick Selmes (Jr)from Orange who placed 3rd outright in the heavy gun and won the juniors in light gun as well , very well done Mike - keep up the good shooting. Rebbeca Richards won the Light gun from Brett Wilson and Lee McGrann. Dave Brett won the 2 gun trophy with Rebbecca and Lee close behind.

WSRC members put on a very nice BBQ lunch and our RO and scorers did a top job so shooting and the club was a winner as well.
I wish to thank all those that assisted thru out the day as it made the day run very smoothly.
