0.9 if you want to have it threaded for Bukys style tuner

thanks gents

Thanks Rob and Michael.
Thats a relief. I had a barrel fitted and the gunsmith profiled the barrel and its just under the .900" at the muzzle which i thought was the minimum. All good then, thanks.

If you wish to shoot over seas then it has to be .900"

Are you sure MAX?

SAYS WHO? For Light Varmint. Never had my barrel measured overseas and I can tell you never had a barrel @ 0.9 either
Anyone who has a Bukys Style tuner would have an illegal barrel as they are roughly 0.87 at muzzle

World Bench Shooting

World Bench Shooting Federation. 2007
Page 20 has the specification for the complete rifle.
I think the NBRSA has the same rule as this was copied out of there book.
In Sydney at the world's a few years ago, all rifles were measured to this rule and some of the USA shooters said they have never done this before, but it is straight out of there rule book.

Wrong yes

That picture is referring to the drop to heel of the stock. Nothing to do with barrel profile requirements.

ok

ok, my barrel measures .875"ish at the muzzle. I do not have a tuner and i do not expect to shoot overseas or any international comp here in Australia. So this being the case, if i entered a comp here in Australia, Australia day comp, Harry Made, etc etc, i would be allowed to enter yes? As long as it is not an international comp WBC etc

You will be fine to shoot anywhere including WBC or in the USA

No problem shooting your

No problem shooting your barrel in Australia. We don't have a diameter rule here.

Then only time I recall being checked overseas was at Phoenix for the WBC there in 1997.
George Kelbly was measuring rifles and had a few "interesting" results.
