222 Remington.

What a great little cartridge this is, have been shooting several rifles chambered for this since the early 1960's using Dupont 4198. Would suggest AR2207 or BM1 powders which are more freely available now.

Gday Chris, you cant buy VV133 in Australia unless its someones personal stash from years ago when it was available.

VV I33 Powder

Is WW 133 POWDER the same as N133
I have notes a lot of N133 being used in BR shooting

Same

Yes it''s VV N133. Not imported to Australia any longer. Some shooters still have some but it's not the only powder being used in short range BR.
ADI powders BM2, BM1 AR2219 are all being used successfully in short range BR.

N133

When did they stop importing it
Their seems to be a lot of it still being used

Not sure

I would say 4 or 5 years. Generally BR shooters don't buy 1 or 2 kg's. More like 5, 10 or more so there is still some around.

CHRIS-A
Thank s John

Must be a lot around about 30 to 40% of all BR shoots are using it

133

When it was announced 133 was pulling out of Australia the top shooters bought many kilos each and due to limited matches in Australia they still have it .
Most of the top 10 shooters use 133 during matches.
I have been told it’s a lot tougher to use in hot weather and more fussy to temperature variations .
I think most shooters shuffle around what powder they use , as John said 133,BM2,BM1 and 2219 are all used depending on conditions and what each barrel and rifle likes .
