STAY SAFE 2020 will be different for all of us.

Hi to everyone is Australia and also overseas that frequent this site.

I thought it about time we all start to think of our shooting mates, there are many in the "older" category and also many that have their weekly shooting as an "outlet' and also socialising activity.

Of course with the current World Wide Pandemic ranges are closed , events are cancelled or postponed for at least 3 months or more which means many may struggle without their shooting fix.

I am getting my shooting fix by doing dry training, mental training and even just getting the rifles for a clean and polish even if not needed,i am also keeping in contact via phone or on facebook etc with close mates, i urge you all to do the same.

Many of us will come out the other side ok but many may not be so lucky or might be a different person, different financially or in lifestyle. Stay happy and healthy so hopefully we can all catch each other at the range on the other side of this horrendous world plague.

Look after yourself ad your family for now, prayers and thoughts to you all...

Well said Bill. I am an old fart & miss my shooting dreadfully but I'll get through this. Add my prayers & thoughts as well.

My first Easter BR Nationals

My first Easter BR Nationals was at Canberra in 1976 - I have attended every one of them since then.
This Easter will be a little strange. All shooting ranges in SA are closed as is just about everything else.
Petrol is under a dollar a litre, but there is no where to go!
Back to the garden I guess.

Stay Safe

The whole world has been brought to a stand still, who's to blame? No doubt the Chinese, what were they fiddling about with this virus for. Anyone who can answer this question has somehow gone missing . I'm not going to buy another Chinese product, even if they are giving them away. It's time like this we appreciate Rob's work with the Bulletin stay safe and enjoy all the peaceful moments you are going to have in 2020

The problem Bruce is that

The problem Bruce is that they have successfully infiltrated our lives to the point where damn near everything you buy is bloody Chinese! Take a stroll through Bunnings or Harvey Norman or any of the chain stores and almost everything comes from China.
It would be great if after this debacle we all boycotted their products, but it won't happen because people have short memories and will still buy the cheapest item.
How would it be if after we get this virus killed off that the rest of the world take out a massive class action against the Chinese Communist Govt for the damage to life and property that this has brought us.
I not a pessimist by any means but in a years time everything will be back the way it was, unfortunately.

Online Piss-up

I came to the piss-up & drank 15 cans of Coopers Pale Ale but can't remember if any of you were there.

Calendar update

With all the uncertainty of where this pandemic will end it might be an idea to wipe the match calendar clean and reinstate the data when the ranges reopen. I have it from a learned source it could take 12 to 18 months before things begin to normalize.
