RIP Syd Miller HOF #6

It is my sad duty to announce that Syd Miller passed away this afternoon, after a battle with illness, at the Repatriation Hospital.

HOF number #6, Syd was a friend to many - a gentle man, who was happy to share his knowledge and skill with any who asked. He was the first benchrester in Australia to win a significant event with a 6BR when he won the HV at the Southern Varmint Titles in 1979.

I will write a proper vale for the AS magazine in due course.

We are diminished - again this year.
