barrel fouling what's that

Hey Jim

I believe it's just because you bought a bore scope put it away and shoot the bloody thing

Can you notice any difference in the target

What is everyone using to clean there barrels these days maybe it's that

Scares the crap out of me every time I look down a barrel with a bore scope so now I just stop looking

I doubt the barrels are the problem

Be good

Long before borescopes

Long before you could get the bore scopes at the prices we are familiar with today I was using a Zeiss endoscope. That was back in the early eighties. Being an optical engineer I had access to that kind of stuff but still cost a fortune. What I saw in the barrels shocked me then and I wondered how it could shoot. They don't look any better or worse today. It's just more people are peering into their tubes these days .........and yes the image quality blew the hauckeye and the other various units you can by away. It was designed to do keyhole surgery with. But you don't need that sort of resolution and contrast too look into a barrel.
