Unless something like winning the Lotto or set for life happens I think this will be my last Trip away with team Australia. I just can not afford the running up and down the east coast to qualify and then pay my way to the event. Also with the price of Ammo going up even further,I rang around today and ELEy Match is up to $29 a box.As some of you may know i am on a dissability support pension and have been since 99 I have spinal and shoulder injury Would be easier if i had a leg missing, It takes me the years in between Major shoots to sell stuff and sit at home to save enough to do this. And because i am so far north complicates things even more my rates , Home and contents insurance and other stuff goes up and my pension stays pretty well the same and my play money has run out. So after this year i will probably drop out of RBA and TRA as we have no smallbore clubs up here. will do some SSAA shooting and some Farmer assist and do some fishing off the beach while i do some trips to visit people and see some of Australia while i still can. A semi Grey Nomad so to speak i can not rent out a room or they will class it as income and i will actually be worse off. Anyway as you know with Firearms in the house would have to be very picky with who was in the house while i was away.
Maybe a Job with Australia Post at 5.6 Million dollars a year 1 year would do. So if i dont have a win there most likely be a RAW Air rifle and dive tank for sale late in the year along with others.
