The list of Sponsors is extensive and I am sure the Rimfire Benchrest shooters appreciate the support and help people like these great businesses have provided.
It is interesting to note that out of the seventeen sponsors only two come from NSW and one from Victoria.

To put it simply Dan, the WRABF team to represent Australian comprises 16 members made up of 8 from Queensland, 6 from NSW and 2 from Victoria. However, the support for this team is biased heavily towards Queensland with 82%. Good on you Queensland and thank you very much for the support of our sport. Good on you also those two sponsors from NSW and 1 from Victoria. Again thank you very much.
But, where is the support from other sponsors for NSW and Victoria? Was there no canvassing done in these states or was there not enough interest generated by shooters to get Business and Industry involved? I do not know but I find it quite worrying that the interest in shooting and particularly, a massive event like this World Cup and European Championship is basically ignored by both NSW and Victoria. Both States have many big organisations and shops involved in the shooting industry but are apparently not interested in supporting our shooters. Why? Again I don't know, but I think it is an important question. One that warrants further investigation.
The sport cannot continue without support from the Industry and subsequent Retailers.and major organisations. Something is wrong and it needs to be identified and repaired soon or the future for us shooters who love our sport will be very glum.
We cannot survive on Raffles and fund raising B B Q's.!

Okay I will bite you are on about sponsors for this shoot and I must say thank you to the ones that have stepped up some from three states three that is you make mention should be more from N S W and V I C but excuse me but are there not seven states in AUSTRALIA I am a bit concerned that the other states are not resented or is it that most of us on the BENCHREST BULLETEN are over here on the east coast has the controlling body approached the business in the other states has it even been put to them I think a lot more could be raised if someone did a proposal up and send it to all gun shops and related industry AUSTRALIA wide stating a bit of advertising in exchange for a few dollars might surprise our self’s a bit with the support it may raise and then both the A and B teams might get funded wouldn’t that be nice

What I find interesting on this topic is the lack of support and sponsorship from our sports governing body , we all pay our membership to tra , yet when put to them to sponsorship for their own national team competing in an international World Cup , and at this point of time target rifle Australia has not put one dollar forward towards the team,

Would think they would be the first to jump on board ?

Could there be a list posted of all the winners and place getters in Slovenia that we can show our sponsors that the help they gave us assisted the team to get these results.
