I have Scoville stocks and I would recommend stock tape. It makes the friction a bit less and more consistent And Rob has it in stock

If you are referring to the 3M slick material, I still use stock tape. My rear bag is an Edgewood with 3M Slick ears. I found it got a bit sticky and gripped a bit inconsistently without the tape. Michael
