Newcastle 50th year celebrations

Hi all
In November next year Newcastle SSAA range will be celebrating its 50th year of operation.
We plan on holding a registered shoot as part of the celebrations and are having some debate on what.
It will most likely be Hunter class but some want heavy only,(rimfire/C/F) some want a full match.
Question. Would the interstate people travel for one day of each (rimfire/C/F) or prefer a 4 day shoot?
Your input would be greatly appreciated.

My opinion

My opinion would be Heavy CF Saturday with Heavy RF on the Sunday.
Thought it was and in house discussion at the moment.!!

Rim and CF

I like the idea of a day each Rimfire and Centrefire, not certain how that fits with being a "registered" event.
I think a "fun" shoot would be great.
My personal rimfire and my match ammo is avaiable for a CF shooter if I can borrow a CF for the second day.
In the rimfire I prefer IRB, less moving and more shooting.

That's great try and keep away from RBA Nationals in Nov, which will be in QLD, it is set so maybe do some enquiring with the new Committee but i would punt on RBA being the Week inc Nov 17 that way both events wont be diluted.

RBA

After the rba meeting can anyone shed some light on next year's comp in QLD?
If Newcastle has their comp on before Brisbane it could be used as a practise match and a stopover for the southern people heading to QLD.
We are trying to set dates to suit as many people as possible and don't want to clash.
Remember Newcastle has the IRB nationals in October.
