Triggers:
Jewell Bix'N Andy Flavio Fare
Has anybody tried the triggertech diamond (Canada) for benchrest?
Is the Bix'N Andy a worthwhile upgrade over the jewell?
For those that have the 2 stage Bix'N Andy - do they like it or wish they got the single stage?
A lot of questions, I know. It might also be controversial - not trying to be.
Have a great new year!
Thanks for your reply's.

I have Jewels ,bix and Andy and a Flavio trigger
The Bix and the Flavio are about four times lighter than the Jewel though
If you shoot free recoil light is good
Two stage triggers aren't really something that I like as it takes longer to shoot
If the conditions good its all go but thats just my opinion.
I have never personally seen or heard of a Diamond tech trigger but pretty hard to beat a Bix or Flavio
Hope this is some help

That trigger certainly looks the business but its way to heavy for this game
Bix and Andy goes down to half an ounce
I am sure you could use it but you wouldn't be doing yourself any favours

Just email them and if it goes down to 2oz give it a go. It does say the Diamond goes down less than 4oz.
I don’t know of anyone who has one, but to be honest I hadn’t heard of them til your post.
If they work as described I would bet they are a very good trigger
No overtravel on these triggers.
Not recommended to go below 4 ozs. Did email Australian supplier and the manufacturer in Canada.
Going with Bix'N Andy competition.
Thanks for your replies.
Congratulations Kev my boy, That's the best benchrest decision you've made so far in 2019. I hope the rest of them are as well informed. Free recoiling a rimfire demands a good trigger. Now I'm not saying one of these Triggertech Diamond triggers will not do the job, but you gotta think why more people aren't using them. One of the things I've learn't over 4 years, is that rimfire benchrest shooters demand the best and they don't mind paying for it so price is not an issue. The trouble with using unique gear is the lack of user support. Not that I've needed it on any of the 4 BixNAndy triggers I have, but if something does go wrong, I got an importer that will fix the problem ASAP. Sometimes going with the flow is the best choice in the longrun. Same philosophy goes for the other gear. If you don't have any basis for a decision, using what the winners use is a good place to start.
