Well, I have attended every Australia Day BR (barr 2005) since 1980, and this last one produced the hottest day that I can remember. The target crew did a Stirling job in awful conditions.
There was some great shooting done in some "sporting" conditions on both days.
A popular win for David Kerr in the two gun - his first at this event.
For a range that has no permanent benchrest shooters, it is always a good event and this one was no different.
Well done to all.
And thanks to the 'Toblers' for the catering and Ann Brummell for running the line for the two days
It was very hot indeed and I think on the Saturday the hottest day I have competed in.
Mr Kerr was just two good over the two days and won the shoot comfortably
I always look forward to the AD shoot so will have it in the calendar for next years Anniversary shoot for sure.
It will be interesting what the earth works do to the range and how it shoots next year, might be a learning curve for all
