TOWNSVILLE is hosting the first round of the Northern I.R.B Challenge.

Our first round of 2020 will be held in Townsville, on the weekend of the 14th-15th of MARCH 2020 at the SSAA Townsville Range.

Our range is located 25kms from Townsville City heading towards Hervey’s range. There are motels in the city and a caravan park is located on Hervey Range Road just past 1300Smiles Stadium. From 1300 Smiles Stadium to the range is about a 15minute drive to the gate.
Everyone is welcome to camp on range in the camping area and there is plenty of room for caravans and tents. Power is available for those that require it. There are toilets and hot/cold showers

Nomination fees are $25.00 for the event, which includes lunch on the Sunday the 15th, with practice and range set up stating at around midday on the Saturday the 14th. We welcome all juniors to join us there are no nomination fees for junior’s under 18. Early nomination would be great for sorting targets, details and bench rotations as well if you are sharing equipment please let us know who is shooting first or a left handed shooter.
Our nomination form can be found on our website and at the bottom of this page . forwarded back to us so we can cater for food and prepare targets ahead of the shoot.
Payment of nomination fees And weigh in can be done on the Saturday during the practice set up time, correct money would be preferred as we have limited change, and this can be paid when filling in the attendance book upon arrival to the range.
SSAA National Membership and Shooters licence must be current and sighted.
There will also be a short meeting after presentations on the Sunday to decide when and where next shoot is to be and any other items arising to put forward to help with future shoots.

Costs:
Nomination is $25 for adults. Juniors free
Included is a cold meat/salad and fruit Platter for lunch.

Nomination fees can be paid upon arrival at the range as well as signing in the
attendance book with the Range Officer. Please make sure he gives you your
competitor number.
Camping:
Caravans and tents all are welcome, there is hot/cold showers. Please make sure
you pack up outside areas before retiring at night or attending shoot as our cows are a
friendly lot and are like goats…they eat everything in sight and then some.
