NSW Centrefire Results

The first two days have been shot and results uploaded.
The range has been calm and still. Too still!!!
Probable pockets of cold air have caused some vertical dispersion for shooters at various times.

Highlight of the shoot so far is the shooting of a possible new record for the 200yd Agg in Unlimited.

Local shooter Michael Thompson shot a .2313 Agg, potentially bettering the previous record which has stood for 25 years.
The smallest group at 200 was a .312 for 10 shots.

Another local shooter, Alistair McMillan, shot a screamer today in Sporter 100yd. His .089 held up for the smallest group, but there were also several other groups in the low .1's.

Congratulations to Robin Elton on his win in Sporter today.

Shooters are hoping for some "turbulence" for the next two days so they see a condition to shoot rather than the "unseeable" of the first two days.

Firstly thanks to all the volunteers from the Coffs SSAA Branch for all their hard work leading up to and during the shoot over the last four days, without you all we don’t have a sport.
We had interesting conditions over the 4 days and there was potentially 2 more records set today with Mitchell Tallar at 200 yards and the heavy agg. He also won the 4 gun. Well done!
