2010 National RBA Championships
RBA Nationals run by the Clifton Benchrest Shooters Union Inc.
When: 30- 31 July and 1st August.
Where: Jim Smith Range Belmont Brisbane.
Range Times: Friday Practice and Sighting 10.00 am – 5.00 pm.
Sat Match Range open at 7.00 am Start at 8.00 am
Sun. Match Range open at 7.00 am Start at 8.00 am.
Meals: Catering will be available from Lunch on Friday through to Dinner on Sunday night. at very competitive pricing.
On Saturday Night a Nationals Dinner will be held for all to enjoy at a very reasonable cost.
Accommodation: is available at the complex and includes motel units, bunk house accommodation, caravans and tent sites powered and unpowered. The rates are very reasonable and can be booked with the QRA Office, and can be viewed from the attached link.
Safe Storage: An onsite storage facility is available to those who are travelling or camping.
Licences: You will need to bring your Licence with you and they will be recognised in Queensland.
Interstate Visitors
Whilst your interstate licence may have mutual recognition as per section 32 of the Act, if you intend to stay longer than 3 months at a time in Queensland, you will need to apply for a visitors licence to continue staying in Queensland beyond the initial 3 month period of your visit. The application for a visitors licence must be made within the initial 3-month period. The Authorised Officer will determine whether a visitors licence can be issued in this instance.
International Visitors
International visitors need to apply for a visitors licence as well as an Import Permit (B709) to bring your firearm/weapon into Queensland. These must be obtained from the Weapons Licensing Branch prior to your visit to Queensland. The application process for this is provided in the Visitors Licence section.
