In custom class at the SSAA Hunter Class nationals Lapua X-Act showed what good ammo can do.

At 50m it equalled the Australian record
Set a new Australian 100m record
Set a new Australian aggregate (combined 50 & 100 score) record with the first perfect 500 ever shot in rimfire.
And I think when people look they’ll see it’s a new Australian 2 gun record too and yes I used Lapua in my sporter.

Just to let you all know that I will be bringing 'The Trophy' down into Cockroach territory for a brief visit. (just so you can all have a look at it before we take it back north after the Custom Rimfire Hunter event!!!!)

The NSW RBA Titles are coming in 3 weeks, Saturday 26th Sept, 2009. These are also part of The World Rimfire Postal & your score will be registered as an individual for the World Postal 2009. We will also have another Australian Team aiming up to try & beat the UK who took over the current lead from our Queensland OZ Team. Annie is still leading the individual world rankings, anyone game to try & knock her from the top at this stage 742 will do it?

Australia’s ‘Team C’ have submitted their scores from the Queensland Cup for the World Rimfire Postal. They had 27 shooters and some great scores. That’s the Good News. Now the bad news – they did not have Annie Elliot on their team because she showed the ‘Blokes’ how it should be done! Nice shooting Annie!

Not much is happening lately on this forum so I will start a thread that needs discussion.

Handloading the 22LR cartridge? Should we be allowed to handload our own 22LR rimfire ammo?
Now I am aware that the rules of most competitions which involve 22LR do not allow this but not all of them actually do say that. In fact the SSAA Benchrest rulebook is silent on this matter.

Hello to all, I am happy to announce that I have been elected as President of The World Rimfire & Air Rifle Federation by a majorioty decision of delegate members from around the world. Carl Boswell from the UK has been elected Secretary. The rules to be used for the 2011 World Championships in Kettlefoot USA have been set & we are now forming a working comittee.
