Renouned Benchrest Rimfire Shooter, Bob Blacklock of Grafton NSW has passed away today (Monday 3/10), peacefully at home accompanied by his family.
His passing is a huge loss to rimfire benchrest shooting as he was a huge driving force in the sport in the Grafton region and mentor to many shooters.
Bob was not only a past State Champion shooter but even more importantly was regarded as a Champion bloke by all who knew him.
The whole shooting farernity extend their sincere condolences on their loss to Bob's widow Pat and to the whole Blacklock family.
We are all diminished with Bob's passing.

Bob was indeed a great bloke. Always happy, wether he was shooting well or not. Always up for a chat with the odd joke thrown in for good measure.
His spirit will be missed on the line for sure.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Bob.
He was a terrific bloke, a true gentleman and a great friend. I will miss seeing him at future shoots and also our chats.
