Don't believe everything u read...

There has been some conjecture as to whether this forum is official or not.

Well here is a news flash regarding tra and rba.

Nothing gets put in here that does not 1st go on the official tra facebook page.

Benchrest Bulletin remains a valuable asset for Aussie Shooters and should never be lost as many still like to post, sell, buy or stalk here.

In saying that, look out for some un official news here that is also official regarding rules and 2023 RBA Nationals as we (TRA) have been liaising with the WRABF for weeks.

Bottom line we are the meat in sandwich and some people don't like meat.

Meat is good for us

Some time meat is not cooked in a healthy way and made it very dificult to digest.

Botton line some time is not the meat but is a result of who made the sandwich.

Update recieved as promised

RBA NATIONALS as per WRABFS official advise and updates recieved over night please note..

We have been updated today by the WRABF that up to 12 power scopes are now an official rule for International Sporter Class, so they will be allowed at 2023 RBA Nationals.

The word Varmint is also now removed from all classes.

We have further been advised the bi pod rule is on hold until the committee has time to consider and unpack some guidelines for it, so for 2023 RBA Nationals we will not have this rule in place.

We would like to again advise The WRABF have said they will update rule books online asap but we are in their hands.

Thank you

BB Policy

Guys,

Firstly, I am not currently a rimfire shooter, so I can speak impartially.

It has been my experience that Bill Collaros is probably the most honest, hard working administrator in shooting sports in Australia.

If you don't like something, contact him and I am sure you will get a fair hearing. Decisions are never made by only one person.

That said, this is my website, and I make the rules. Any personal attacks will not be tolerated, and offenders will be excluded.

If you don't like the rules, self exclusion may be your best bet!

Rob.

BB Administrator

Thankyou

Thankyou Rob,

Not posted on here in years but I regularly check out the pages to see what is on and results of matches etc. We don't need to hear anything that does not promote the sport of shooting. 100% agree that Bill is the best administrator we have had in years.
Thanks

Thank you

Rob and David, being a volunteer in sports administration can be very rewarding sadly as can be seen it an also be very un-rewarding. I am sure people try and do the their best in the role, sometimes that may not suit or please people BUT if u are pleasing the majority and the numbers/events stack up, it is very sad and tiring to cop flack especially from other people in the same sport some of which do absolutely nothing to to help in any way and have no idea what they are talking about.
